We used motion tracking software to plot the path of the left and right side of the transmission mount during a “mash and go” launch (no brake boost). From the plots you can see earlier resistance to movement and far lower peak travel, meaning less slack in the driveline and less bottom-out effect, resulting in the power getting to the ground sooner with less shock to drivetrain components. Left and right side displacement of the transmission mount. Dashed lines are left bolt, which tends to move up slightly as the engine/trans rotates. Solid lines are right bolt, which is in the primary load path.

Combining the displacements, we can see OEM has a severe bottom-out on launch between 500-1000 ms. 1-2 shift happens at 2500-3000 ms. Peak displacement happens in 2nd gear. Peak displacement reduced by 33% with Street, 56% with Performance, and 64% with Track bushings.

The bushings are available in 3 densities
Street - 33% reduction in movement. No increase in NVH
Performance - 56% reduction in movement. No increase in NVH on our test vehicle, but it’s possible there could be a little bit.
Track - 64% reduction in movement. Slight increase in NVH on our test vehicle. Not noticeable over radio or cracked windows.
